Me!
- 1. I have two adorable pugs. The interesting fact you may not know is that they are named after two of my favorites authors and books they wrote. My black pug is a male whom I named Dekker Black. Dekker after author Ted DEKKER and the first book of his trilogy: Black, Red, White. My faun pug is a female whom I named Bronte Eyre. Bronte after Charlotte Bronte and her book, Jane Eyre.
- 2. I am an American citizen. The interesting fact you may not know is that I have dual nationality because I was born in Cannes, France also known as the Riviera.
- 3. I recently graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.A. in Communication. The interesting fact that you may not know is that I completed my degree at age 44, as well as, the emphasis of said degree was in Drama with a minor in English Literature and writing.
- 4. I graduated from Tulsa Community College with an AA in English Literature. The interesting fact you may not know is I graduate as an Honors Scholar while struggling with the ravaging effects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Don't forget that May 12th of every year is National Awareness Day for CFIDS/FMS!
- 5. I am a military brat as well as an Air Force Vet having served for eight years myself from 1981-1989. The interesting fact you may not know is as a result of my dad's military career as well as mine, I have now been to 18% of the world.
- 6. I have been writing for a long as I can remember. The interesting fact you may not know is that I am a member of Christians In Theatre Arts (C.I.T.A.).
- 7. I was in the United States Air Force for eight years. The interesting fact you may not know is I was part of the military Honor Guard and presented arms at military funerals for 4 of my eight years.
- 8. I was trained to shoot in the military. The interesting fact you may not know is my favorite hand guns are the Walther PPK and the Glock 9 mm.
- 9. I have been lucky to have been pregnant twice. The interesting fact you may not know is I had an abortion in my 20's and to this day it is the decision I regret the most.
- 10. I am a moderate conservative. The interesting fact you may not know is I am registered as an Independent. My worldview for politics tends to lean towards those such as Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Sarah Palin and Governor Bobby Jindal.
- 11. I love to read. The interesting fact you may not know is that I once spent almost $500.00 in one shopping trip to a bookstore!
- 13. I have literally lived all over the world. The interesting fact you may not know is that I am now live in Tulsa, Oklahoma (for the 2nd time!) I missed the warm climate, friendly people and the wonderful city of Tulsa!
- 14. I have been to Africa. The interesting fact you may not know is that the police thought the women at the Christian convention I was at were drug dealers and they threw three cans of tear gas into our building. I was trampled by 6000 women and children trying to escape!
- 15. I am a writer of articles, op-eds, plays, television scripts, movies scripts, poems and all things Mike Huckabee - anything that I find interesting and relevant! The interesting fact you may not know is that I sometimes write under a pen name - Dominique Oberling.
- 17. I love to play scrabble. The interesting fact you may not know is I play scrabble with my friends on my Facebook page.
- 18. I was stationed at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas and worked in the Student Pilot Training Squadron. The interesting fact you may not know is my favorite plane is the F-117 Nighthawk.
- 19. I was on the track team when I lived in Germany as a teenager. The interesting fact you may not know is I was a long distance runner and ran a 6 minute mile.
- 20. I am a creative person. The interesting fact you may not know is my second passion is photography. Although I have no professional training, I love to take photos of what grabs me and I post them here.
