In 2006, a judge shocked border supporters by sentencing Ramos & Compean to 10 years in prison. A New Map for War and Peace...Is It Possible?

I took the time to watch the video and boy am I really glad I did!! It was well worth the time. I have been telling my friends for sometime that I don't understand how having our troops going into a country to do their job - finding and killing the enemy -and then in the next breath, having them trying to build relationships with those very people and helping out in the reconstruction effort in that region, works. Well, this guy gets it completely and puts forth a plan that I think make a lot of sense.

Students Reasons for Leaving ORU Valid, But...

In response to the article, I want to say, first and foremost, ORU is a great school. I not only learned my academics but I also learned how to embrace being a creative person and what that looks like for me. I learned how to stand up for, debate, and discuss what I believe to be true with reason and intellect. I learned that a difference in opinion is not a bad thing; it is a good thing. Someone else's opinion should always be a moment in time that I can use to be stretched, to learn, to be curious, to think outside the box.
